An America Online Macintosh "Top 20" selection (June, '93) . This arcade-style learning game is not some "candy-coated" entertainment that supposedly imparts a little learning between the giggles. Creepin' Critter Math provides your child with math PRACTICE in a way that is both challenging and fun. Swat bugs (the "Creepin' Critters") or pop bubbles that correspond to the correct answer to a math problem before one of the bugs or bubbles disappears near the top of the screen. Points are awarded for correct answers, and an arcade-style "Top Ten" list for each math operation provides a record (with dates) of your child's progress. Higher scores can be achieved by decreasing the amount of time available to answer a problem.
Creepin' Critter Math includes both a "Basic" game which provides practice of the basic math facts, and also includes an "Advanced" game which challenges an older child to do two-step problems in his or her head that involve carrying, borrowing and remainders.
Version 2.2.1 requires HyperCard 2.x or HyperCard Player 2.x
Version 2.3.1 does not require HyperCard in any form, but requires more disk space than Ver. 2.2.1 (800k vs. 175k).

Old fashioned, drilling-type addition flash-cards for learning the addition facts. The kind you hated as a kid, but you now realize were very effective.
Provides: in-order or random problems; reinforcement for the problems that were answered incorrectly; practice can be limited to particular areas (e.g., addition by 7; multiplication by 9); adjustable timer to encourage quick thinking; easy printing of a sorted list of problems which took too long to answer or which were answered incorrectly; one-click production of a text-file of 60 random problems for creating a written 60-second drill.

If you include a stamped, self-addressed disk mailer and a disk with your registration (OR an additional $2.50), you will receive, free of charge, similar stacks for subtraction, multiplication and division.
A multi-user phone book. Each family member can browse and edit their own entries without seeing the entries of others, and can print their own phone book. Yet all entries are in one stack for easy searching, etc.
The pages of the printed phonebook can be folded lengthwise, to give a double-sided effect, and then punched and inserted into a ring binder. Each letter of the alphabet starts at the top of a new page, and the current letter appears in large type along the right margin of each page, for easy reference.
BANQUET MASTER is a full-featured guest list organizer for your next party (large or small), banquet, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, etc. The full version ($15 direct from the author, only) allows you to brain-storm a list of potential guests under catagories such as DEFINITE, PROBABLE, and MAYBE (the demo version provides a fictitious guest list from which you can explore and test BANQUET MASTER's capabilities).
The names and addresses of potential guests can be typed in, or can be imported from a return-delimited text file. Once potential guests have been entered, BANQUET MASTER displays the number of people in each catagory, so you can keep your head-count under control (children and adults can be counted separately). You are also told how many invitations you will need.
The following lists can be printed:
potential guests by catagory (to help you finalize the DEFINITE's);
addresses of DEFINITE guests, for addressing invitations (prints to standard labels, too);
people who have RSVP'ed, who have not RSVP'ed (so you can bug them), and people who have RSVP'ed and said that they are actually attending;
a Table Assignment list, for preparing place cards.
All lists can be printed to the screen, on a printer, or as a text file.
The Seating function of BANQUET MASTER provides an easy way of preparing, changing and rearranging your Table Assignments list.

A household budgeting aid, and a great, general purpose calendar maker.
Allows you to easily print a calendar which shows the due dates and amounts of all your bills and other regular expenses -- for the entire year! The calendar also can show your paydays. Can also print plain calendars, or calendars containing any type of recurring events, or special events such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
The font of the date in the calendar, and the font of the text which describes the expense or event, can be separately set to any of the fonts on your system. The font size can also be separately set in the same way.
You can optionally print out a list of bills and paydays, and easily allows you to add up a continuous selection of bills (e.g., from one pay day to another), so you will know months ahead of time when a lot of bills will have to come out of one pay check.
Balance your checkbook with Check-It. Unlike other financial programs, Check-It has been specially designed to focus only on your checkbook. So you won't have to wade through a bewildering array of features when all you really want to do is balance your checkbook.
Check-It checks the accuracy of each transaction in your check register, and lets you know exactly where you made your mistakes. Check-It also reconciles your check register against your bank statement. Using Check-It database features makes it easy for you to locate checks by the name of the person or company paid or by a general catagory such as "groceries," "car payment," etc. Using Check-It's "Entry List" feature, a single click will enter names or general catagories into Check-It without typing.

A "Software of the Month Club" selection. Blast enemy ships!! This HyperCard target game requires precise mouse-positioning and a good sense of proportions and angles, rather than just the ability to pull a trigger rapidly. Island Defender provides four levels of action against increasingly smaller target ships. Your electronic targeting scope allows you 360 degree coverage of the surrounding ocean from your volcano hide-away. Just set the targeting scope, click FIRE!, and watch your mortar shell head (hopefully) towards a direct hit on the enemy ship. If you miss, don't be surprised if the enemy insults you!
Swat-Tac-Toe adds arcade-like action to Tic-Tac-Toe. The game requires players to earn their X or O by swatting a bug which is jumping around the Tic-Tac-Toe grid. Three skill levels.
Swat bugs flitting around the Pinkleysville Town Museum. Earn points for smooshing the bugs, lose points for missing the bugs or swatting the exhibits. Three skill levels.
Casino-style roulette game. Develop your own "system" without losing any money! Supports virtually all the bets allowed by casinos, and you make them by simply clicking on a realistic betting grid.
A race against time to coax frogs to jump down a chute into the kitchen of a French restaurant for dinner. However, some of the frogs don't want to go to dinner, and are trying to escape! Two skill levels.
HYPER-MUSIC WRITER (won't work with the HyperCard Player)
Utility for easy writing of music in HyperCard's special music notation. Just click on the notes of a music staff. Provides for automatic compensation for different keys. Lets you try out the music you've written or transcribed , in total or in part, with different HyperCard "instruments." Then you can cut and paste the music string into a script in another stack.
Stack Peeker allows you to view the scripts of the stack, and the scripts of ALL cards, backgrounds, buttons and fields anywhere in a target stack, even in stacks which has been set up to prevent access to the scripts. Stack Peeker also allows you to MODIFY those scripts in most instances. Using Stack Peeker, you can create a text file containing the scripts of every object in a stack. This text file can be opened and printed using any of the popular word processing or "works" programs. Also includes the ability to create a searchable library of scripts.
All of the above functions can by performed while running Stack Peeker with the HyperCard Player, even though the Player does not support scripting! So now, Player owners can see the scripts which make HyperCard stacks work.
